Ben A. Lively

Ben Lively, Jr. is a Georgia native, born and raised in Atlanta.  He grew up working in his family commercial contracting business and moved on to building homes soon after his college days at the University of Georgia.  He has been a well respected homebuilder for the past 30 years having built and sold homes throughout the ten-county Atlanta metro area, as well as homes around Lake Lanier, including properties in Gainesville, Hall, Forsyth, and Dawson counties.  Having grown up in a family that had a home on the lake, Ben has tremendous knowledge of lake properties. Through his experience working and playing on the lake for decade, he has developed the uncanny ability to build, buy, or sell properties of great value in the real estate industry.   

     As president of Cliftwood Homes and Sunward Properties over the past two decades, Ben has been heavily involved in every aspect of design, construction, and marketing.  He’s been recognized by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders’ Association with ten professionalism awards for his work.  He has been involved in over 3,000 real estate transactions making him a source of great experience and knowledge for his clients and realty team.  He has been a member of the Certified Professionalism Home Builders for seven years and on the board for the past four.  He has been a member of the Georgia Home Builders Association Board for the past six years and continues serving on both boards because of his expertise and concern for the industry.  He is currently an active member of the Lake Lanier Homeowners Association and has recently completed his term with the Horseshoe Bend Homeowners Association board in Roswell. Ben has also managed eleven other homeowners associations around the Atlanta metro area. To keep up with the economy, Ben has become a Certified Distressed Property Expert, enabling him to aid people who have found themselves in difficult real estate situations during these trying times.

    Ben’s years of experience in all fields of real estate marketing makes him an asset to the Keller Williams Realty team and landed him the title of Rookie of the Year in 2009.  He finds his work with developing, designing, building, managing, and marketing provides him with additional skills that are beneficial to his clients.  Whether they are buying or selling, Ben’s clients feel confident that he knows how to get the job done and will give it his best.
